Description
Mendelssohn, a composer, conductor and music teacher was the grand-nephew of Felix Mendelssohn.  Only medal known made for him.
Born 26 Dec 1855 in Ratibr/Schlesien Died 18 Feb 1933 as a protestant.
In 1891 appointed Church Music Master Director, Hessen Church.  Mendelssohn’s music was banned throughout Third Reich as ethnically Jewish.
