is dedicated to the realization of the goal of developing a "Jewish Future" for "Jewish Youth." The aims of all groups in Young Israel are:
YOUNG ISRAEL'S AIMS ARE:
To perpetuate traditional Judaism in America. To instill in the hearts of American Jewish youth a love for Americanism and the principles of democracy for which this country stands. To bring Jewish youth back to the synagogue by attractive and inspiring services.
To unite the Jewish youth of America for the purpose of working jointly and harmoniously in civic endeavors which promote the welfare of all the inhabitants of the community in which we reside. To solve the problems of vocational guidance and employment for observant and religious Jewish youth. To educate our youth and our adults in the heritage and culture of the Jewish people and to introduce them to the vast treasures of wisdom and right-eousness based on our Torah and developed by our sages. To provide for our young boys and girls, clubs, and groups within an environ-ment free from alien and destructive influences and permeated with morality, recitude and sanctity. To prepare young boys and girls for future participation and leadership in community affairs.
To participate in all charitable and philanthropic enterprises regardless of sect, religion or race. To inspire our Jewish youth with a love for Eretz Yisroel and a desire to build it as a Jewish homeland in accordance with the laws of our Torah.
